Ms. Kathy Marie (Martin) Martin

Ms. Kathy Marie Martin, 50, of Cartersville, Georgia passed on Friday, September 9, 2016. Funeral service will be Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Macedonia Baptist Church, Cartersville Georgia. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home.

Kathy was born on February 16, 1966 in Cartersville, Georgia to the late Albert Word and Catherine Martin. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Kathy was a graduate of Cartersville High School Class of 1985. After graduating from high school, she attended Gordon State College, Barnesville, Georgia and later attended Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Left to cherish her memory, mother, Catherine Martin; two sisters, Valerie D. Robinson (Eric) and Cynthia L.Raglin (David); aunts, Ethel Marie Johnson, Dorothy Miller, Betty J. James (Johnny), Evelyn Moore (David) and Marilyn Martin; uncles, Ernest Martin (Mildred), and Bobby J. Martin (Charon); nephews, Collin, Mason and Grant Robinson; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
