Mr. Anthony Andrew Burton, 50, of Marietta, Georgia passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 8, 2017. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, GA. 30120. The body will lie in state in the chapel from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery, 410 Whitlock Avenue NW, Marietta, GA 30064.

Anthony Andrew Burton was born June 6, 1966 in Atlanta Georgia to Betty Jo McHenry and Lorenza Burton.

He was educated in the Cobb County School System, and graduated from Sprayberry High School.

Anthony accepted Christ at an early age and joined Hensley Chapel Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Bishop J.D. Husband.

Anthony  was always impressed by entrepreneurship and wanted to own his own business. He accepted a job with JAN PRO, a comprehensive cleaning and maintenance business.  In 2009 he moved into the corporate rim of the company as Director of Operations. With the experience and knowledge he gained from the company, Anthony and Daphne Burton bought into the franchise and opened their own company in 2014 JAN PRO Cleaning System in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Their business blossomed and they became one of the leaders of in Hamilton County and the surrounding 16 County areas, by recruiting and teaching them how to run their businesses successfully.

Anthony  joined the Masonic Organization in 1999. He moved up to a 33rd Degree Mason in 2012 . Anthony excelled in the  organization and was promoted to Grand Master of the McHenry Masonic Lodge, Chattanooga Tennessee. King Solomon Trust Grand Supreme Council and King David Grand Lodge of Georgia will be presenting the 33rd Degree Masonic Medal of Honor pinned by Sovereign Grand Commander Frederick McHenry Sr.

Anthony enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his cousins and friends, he had a special love for cars, and sports.

Left to cherish his memory, a beloved and devoted fiancé, Danita Renee Harper; parents, Lorenza and Betty Jo Burton; sister, Taynra Phillips; and a niece, Chelsea Gunn; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends.
