Pastor Charles Fluellen Sr., 57, of 401 Terrell Drive, Cartersville, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 3, at noon at Cartersville First Baptist Church. Family will be receiving friends Friday, March 2, at Glory Harvester Church from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be held Monday, March 5, at 10:30 a.m. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
Charles was born May 24, 1954, in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Mr. Charles and Mrs. Miggie Fluellen.
He met and married to Judith Fluellen and was blessed with two sons, Charles Melvin Fluellen Jr. and Andre Kenneth Fluellen.
He was the pastor of Glory Harvester Church for two years and had a great vision for the church. Pastor Charles was a prominent member the community and a great man of God. He was very dedicated to his family and congregation.
Pastor Charles was preceded in death by his parents, the late Mr. Charles and Mrs. Miggie Fluellen; and his sister, Carlisa Fluellen.
He leaves to cherish loving memories to his wife, Dr. Judith H. Fluellen; two sons, Charles M. Fluellen Jr. and Andre K. Fluellen; three sisters, Angela Fluellen, Darlene Fluellen and Leisha Fluellen; one brother, John Fluellen; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and extended family.
