Mr. Charles Edward Livsey, Jr. , 71 of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 1:00pm at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1310 Old Alabama Road SE, Cartersville, GA 30120. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state in the church from 12:00pm (noon) until the hour of service. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 7:00pm - 8:00pm at the Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, GA. 30120.
On Thursday, February 21, 2019, the Lord called home his son, Charles (Boonie) Edward Livsey Jr. Charles was born May 27, 1947 to the late Charles E. Livsey Sr. and the late Louise Livsey. Charles graduated from Summer Hill High School in Cartersville, GA. He attended North Metro (Chattahoochee Tech).
He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Stilesboro GA, where he was a very faithful member and deacon. He was dedicated to the care and preservation of the church amenities. Charles was united in Holy Matrimony to his faithful and devoted wife Gloria Elaine Buford on February 1, 1976.
Charles was dedicated and loyal to his employer Lockheed Martin for over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles E. Livsey Sr. and Louise Livsey, one brother, Steve L. Livsey; one sister- in- law Brenda Livsey.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Gloria Livsey; two sons, Eric Livsey(Lisa) Kennesaw, GA and Corey Livsey (Anell) Kingston, Ga, one daughter Myra Phuong (Vu) Acworth GA, four wonderful grandboys Jordan Livsey, Evan Livsey, Vu Phuong and Myles Phuong; one brother, Larry Livsey; four sisters, Helen Goggins (Vernon), Rosalyn McCorkle (Michael), Judy Richards (Lawrence), Cedtra Livsey Jeffries (Leroy), Sister- in- Law, Anita Livsey; special friend J. Judkins; and a host of relatives and friends.
