Donna Marie (Warren) Johnson

Donna Marie Warren Johnson, 55 of Cartersville, Georgia passed away peacefully on Monday, September 2, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 1:00pm at Coopers Furnace Shelter B, 1052 Old River Rd. SE Cartersville, GA 30121. Please keep the family in your prayers during this time of bereavement. May the Lord keep them close and near to His ever loving heart.

Donna Marie Warren was born October 20, 1963 in Smithtown, New York  to the late George R. Warren and Carmen L. Warren. Shortly after her birth her family moved to West Palm Beach, Florida.She was educated in the Palm Beach County School District. She attended Twin Lakes High School where she met and later married her high school sweetheart John Hoffer ; to this union two beautiful daughters were born.

Later in life Donna met a trucker by the name of Lawrence (Larry) Johnson ; whom she married in 1988, to this union they were blessed with five wonderful children.

In 1991 the family moved to Calhoun, Georgia where she joined Trinity Baptist Church. Donna truly enjoyed serving the Lord and reading her daily devotionals with a cup of coffee.

During her down time she would crochet blankets, play candy crush, and most of all cook for her family and community.

Donna was always a hard worker from being a server, cashier, manufacturing worker to being a substitute teacher and a mentor for many children. 

She later decided to put down the chalk and become a stay at home mother, grandmother and friend to everyone that came in contact with her.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory; children, Donna Lemus (Morellis), Crystal Hoffer (Jason), Heather Davis (Adam), Melissa Munday (John),Matthew Johnson (Leticia), Joshua Johnson and Jeremiah Johnson; Grandchildren, Alicia Argueta, John Lemus, Myah Davis, Rhyus Davis, O’Rhyan Davis, Johnathon (JJ) Munday andCarmen Munday; loving mother, Carmen Willers; brothers, George Warren (Debbie) and Rick Warren (Brenda); along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
