EDDIE BEA (ARNOLD) SMITH

Mrs. Eddie Bea Arnold Smith, 83, of Cartersville, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 2:00pm at Pine Grove Independent Church, 22 Pine Grove Road NE, Cartersville, GA 30121.Interment will follow in Cassville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 7:00pm - 8:00pm at the Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home.

Eddie Bea was born May 26, 1933 in Cartersville, Georgia to the late Mary Alice Evans and Ed Les Arnold. She was educated in the Bartow County School System. She joined Pine Grove Baptist Church and remained a faithful member until her health prevented her from attending on a regular basis.

She retired from Shaw Industries after thirty years of service. Eddie met and married the love of her life, Hoyt LC Smith. This union was blessed with one son, Lennon Smith.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, cooking and gardening.

Warm and fond memories will forever remain with her son, Lennon Smith; granddaughter, Angel Grace Smith; two brothers, Larry Arnold (Faye) and Cecil Arnold, three sisters-in-law, Christine Arnold, Brenda Arnold, and Patseen Arnold; three Godchildren, Sha’torya Benham, James Floyd and Danny Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
