Jeremy Lamonte Barnes, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Grady Memorial Hospital after the Lord touched his heart. He was born September 25, 1982 in Bartow County and was the son of late Mr. Robert E. Barnes and Mrs. Katherine Barnes. He graduated from Woodland High School in 2001 and later completed his Bachelor Degree from Chattahoochee Tech in 2005. Jeremy loved technology and completed several online and on the job training certifications with his employer eBryIT Computer Support Services, thus furthering his education.
Being taught the word of God in his home, Jeremy would attend church with his father at Pine Grove Independent Church. After the passing of his father, he attended service with his mother at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Jeremy’s smile would light up any room, and he never met any strangers. All that knew him can tell you that he would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought, and that should be a lesson for all of us.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his father Robert Barnes
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, Mother, Mrs. Katherine Barnes; Brother, Bastille Barnes of Fayetteville, NC; Loving Sister-in-law, Michelle Barnes; Three nephews, Jonathan, Joshua and Jordan; niece, Sakhya N. Barnes; Great-Niece, Ambrielle of Killeen, Texas; Three Aunts, Elnora Ford, Emma Edwards and Martha Turner of Cartersville Georgia; loyal companion “Marlow”; and a host of cousins and friends throughout the United States.
