Ms. Amanda Ruth (Ellis) Ellis

Amanda Ruth Ellis, 48, of Adairsville, Georgia passed on Sunday, February 11, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 12:00pm (noon) at Damascus  Missionary Baptist Church, 174 Westbrook Avenue, Emerson, Georgia 30137.

Amanda was born on August 18, 1969 to the late Haywood Ellis, Jr. and Betty Ann Lewis Ellis. She was educated in the Bartow County School System and was employed by Delta Home Care as a Home Health Aide.

Amanda was fondly known as "Ruth" and "Mandy" by her friends; even though she was a very private person, she strived to keep everyone around her in good spirits.

She Leaves to cherish her memories to her loving daughters, Jasmine Perkinson and Crystal Henderson; mother, Betty Ann Ellis; siblings, Pamela Ellis, Edward Ellis, Tina Williams (Rob), Keith Ellis, Karen Ellis-Olotu (Peter), Lamont Ellis, Lynette Fowler (Roy) and Rev. Martin Ray Perkinson (Diane); aunts, Daisy McMickens, Debra Wells (Greg), Ruby Webb (Terry) and Annie Ruth Whitfield (James); uncles, Bobby Lewis (ClaraBell), Philip Jordan and Roy Lee Knowles; lifelong companion, Robbie Henderson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
