Annette Hill, age 78, of Cartersville, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on December 5, 2025. Born on July 9, 1947, to Robert and Alresa Applin, Annette lived a life marked by service, devotion, and unwavering love for her family and community.
She was a proud graduate of Summer Hill High School, Blue Devils Class of 1967. Annette went on to dedicate more than 30 years of service to the Clorox Company, where she was known for her strong work ethic and warm spirit.
She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, serving diligently on the Usher Board and greeting all who entered with kindness and grace.
Sister Annette’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving children, Antwuan Hill and Tyra Applin; her grandchildren, Kristan Applin, Antwuan Hill Jr., Devin Hill, Cameron Hill, and Patience Hill; and her great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Applin. She also leaves her brothers, Robert Lee (Patricia), Harold (Kathy), and James Applin; her sisters, Irene (Horace) Cooley, Sharon (Robert II) Almon, Barbara Cole, and Mary Ruth (Kenneth) Lee; special godson, Robert Almon III; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.
Annette lived her life with strength, faith, and compassion. Her guiding scripture, 2 Timothy 4:7—“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful”—reflects the spirit with which she walked through life: determined, loving, and steadfast in her faith.
The family offers heartfelt thanks to her caregivers for their dedication, patience, and compassion.
