Annolia Moore Obituary

Ms. Annolia Moore,79 of Cartersville, Georgia formerly of Rydal, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1:00PM at Providence Cemetery, 165 Old Tennessee Rd NE, Cartersville, GA 30121.

Due to COVID-19 regulations and guidelines, physical distancing practices will be in place, and MASK ARE REQUIRED for those that will be attending the service. The family is the main concern during this time of bereavement and space will be limited. We have to ensure the family is able to attend the service, so there is a possibility of some friends not being admitted. However, the service will be LIVE-STREAMED.

Annolia Moore was born on December 26, 1941 in Rydal, Georgia to the late J.M.Lewis and Elizabeth Moore. She was the eldest of eight children.

She received her formal education in the Bartow County School System, and attended Summer Hill High School. She was a life long member of New Hope Baptist Church. Annolia was quite active in her church; working with the Youth Ward, Ushering, working in the kitchen, cleaning and more....

Annolia worked many years at Cloverleaf School, and was last employed at Quality Inn Hotel. She always took her jobs seriously, when she couldn't get a ride to work, she walked. When she wasn't working you could find her watching her favorite Soap Opera's, Basketball games, working on her word puzzles and visiting her family like Aunt Hanna, talking about the old days.

Being born on the 26th of December, of course Christmas was her favorite holiday. She looked forward to spending the holiday with her family and not to mention; she would receive double gifts.

Annolia was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Priscilla Nettles and brother, George Barrett, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory; sisters, Ida Marie McAfee, Georgia Pettigrew (Larry), Rosebud Owens, and  Vanessa Weems (Ronald); brother, Billy Barrett; one brother-in-law, Dexter Nettles; aunt, Hanna Pye; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
