Mr. Bennie Ray Conley, 73 of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center. Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 1:00PM at Mack Eppinger & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. Interment has been scheduled at the Georgia National Cemetery on November 18, 2021 at 10:30AM at 2025 Mount Carmel Church Lane, Canton, Georgia 30114 Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement. 

Due to COVID-19 regulations and guidelines, physical distancing practices will be in place, and MASK ARE REQUIRED for those that will be attending the service. The family is the main concern during this time of bereavement and space will be limited. We have to ensure the family is able to attend the service, so there is a possibility of some friends not being admitted.

Bennie Ray Conley was born on August 10, 1948 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Susie Cotton and Thomas Lee Conley. He was educated in the Hamilton County School System and later transferred to Cartersville, Georgia. He served his country in the United States Army and was promoted to Sergeant during the Vietnam War, where he was injured. He was Honorably Discharged on October 2, 1969. After retiring , he worked various jobs in Chattanooga, California, and Cartersville.

Bennie accepted Christ ar an early age, as an adult he often has conversations that would lead to the discussion of his experiences of the Lord.

He was known as "Bennie Mack" by family and friends. Bennie was full of energy when it came to storytelling and joking around. Though his skills for repairing cars was not all that, he always lifted the hood and started tinkering. His memory of special events in is life was great.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Lee Conley and Susie Cotton; caretaker, Lucy "Pearl" Richards;sisters, Carolyn Marie Conley, Betty Jean Jackson Smith and; brothers, Willie Howard Jackson and Robert Earl Conley; niece, Tonya, K. Roberson; nephews, Ray Williams and Billy Mac rogers.

He is survived by and leaves cherished memories for his wife, Cora Von Brown; two daughters, Margaret LaDell Conley (Darlene Dunnah) and Kanysia Alyse Conley (Lori Smith); two sisters, Joanne Brown of Cartersville, Georgia and Patricia Jackson , Woodbridge, Virginia;  nieces and nephews, Sherry Mosley, Danny Jackson, Lesley Roberts, David Conley and Khaoe (Chuck) Smith and Bobby Peeks; great nieces and nephews; Danielle Williams, Ricarrdo Quick and Kaegen roberts, Jamai Smith, Kaya Smith, Marquell Conley, Kristian Baker, and  Lurey Smith; and a host of other relatives and many great friends.
