Bonita Gail (Heard) Henderson

Mrs. Bonita Henderson, 65, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on peacefully on Saturday, September 5, 2020.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Providence Cemetery, 165 Old Tennessee Road NE, Cartersville, GA 30121.

Due to COVID-19 regulations and guidelines, physical distancing practices will be in place, and MASK ARE REQUIRED for those attending the service. The family is the main concern during this time of bereavement and space is limited. We have to ensure the family is able to attend the service, so there is a possibility of some friends not be able to be admitted. However the service will be LIVE-STREAMED.

Mrs. Bonita Gail Heard Henderson was born in Cartersville, Georgia on November 29, 1954 to the late Charlie Winston Heard and Helen Elizabeth Heard. Bonita was educated in the Cartersville School System. Bonita was united in holy matrimony to Roy Lee Henderson on March 23, 1970. She was a lifelong member of Saint Luke A.M.E. church. She retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company after 32 years of service.
Bonita was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Nakail Lemece Henderson.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving husband of 50 years, Roy Lee Henderson. Two daughters, Tunesia Pina Edwards(Victor). Pamela Patton (Terrick). Sisters, Donna Heard, Cheryl Nelson (Nate), Alicia Rush (Daryl). One brother, Carey Heard (Lisa). Grandchildren: Chelsey Parker, Montavius Parker and Nakayla Pina. Great Grandchildren, Aubrey Parker, Hunter Propes, Skylar Parker and Alexander Lee Roy Parker. Brother in law, Timothy Henderson(Christine) Robert Mcafee Jr. and the late Matthew Henderson. Sister in laws, Betty Henderson Clark (Louis) Mary Henderson Callahan, Sheila Henderson, Patricia Muhammad(Carlos ) and Belinda Mcafee Owens (Terry). Mother in law, Betty Henderson Mcafee. Special Aunts, Marion Clark and Betty Phene Henderson and a host of other friends and relatives.
