Carlos Angel Aldecoa, 15 of Adairsville, Georgia passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 9, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. at Remnant Church, 115 International Parkway, Adairsville, Georgia 30103. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement.
It has been an honor and a privilege to be the parent of Carlos Angel Aldecoa—a beloved son whose life, though far too short, left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Carlos was many things to many people: a devoted son, a loving brother and uncle, a loyal friend, a dedicated student, a mentor, and a kind neighbor. Above all, he was a faithful follower of Christ who found great joy and purpose in his church’s teen ministry.
He had an incredible sense of humor and a smile that could lift even the heaviest hearts. Gentle and soft-spoken, Carlos was dependable, compassionate, and an excellent listener—someone people naturally trusted and turned to. He was a true friend to all and an exceptional role model.
Carlos had a deep love for life’s simple joys. He enjoyed video games and dreamed of creating one of his own, with a passion for computers, graphic design, and video game animation. He was especially talented in math and had aspirations of pursuing a career in technology.
He loved traveling, the beach, and spending time with friends and family. He had a special love for Philly cheesesteaks, Marvel—especially Spider-Man, with a particular admiration for Miles Morales—and Japanese anime, including JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Carlos adored his nieces and nephews and cherished his brothers and sisters deeply. He shared a close and loving bond with his mother and was her biggest supporter.
Carlos is survived by his father, Carlos Aldecoa; his mother, Angela Aldecoa; his siblings, Stephanie Aldecoa (husband - Ignacio White), Samantha Aldecoa (husband - Joscelyn Oria), Amy Anderson (husband - Jon Anderson), Emily Rodriguez (husband - David Rodriguez), Edward Ocasio, and Alexis Ocasio; his nieces and nephew, Ariel White, Jennifer Hood, Logan White, Javonte White, Decembere Crawford, Julianna Aldecoa, Skylar Crawford, Niklaus Crawford, Penelope Oria, Adelyne Oria, Josiah Anderson, Novalie Rodriguez, Daviana Rodriguez, and Ariella Rodriguez; and extended family including his cousin, Andrew Holt; Aunt Beverly White; cousin, Eva White, cousin Brandon White, Uncle Johnny Curtis, Aunt Gloria Curtis, and Uncle Ramon Aldecoa.
Carlos’s life was a light—one filled with love, faith, kindness, and quiet strength. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit, his laughter, and the love he gave so freely will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
