The gates of heaven opened to receive one of its finest soldiers, Christopher Xavier Elliott, on Friday, February 26, 2021 from WellStar Paulding Hospital as his parents sang with him and prayed over him at his bedside.
Born on June 08, 1983, Christopher was the sixth child of Pastor Robert and Sis. Mary Elliott. Christopher graduated from East Paulding High School in 2001, where he was affectionately known as "El-pup". He continued his education at North Georgia Technical College where he graduated with two Associate Degrees. He also pursued studies at Clayton State College. Christopher served in several ministries throughout the years always lending a hand, playing the drums, singing, and praising the Lord. Furthermore, Christopher was planning a career in ministry to reach more of God's people.
Christopher was a gentle spirit who had a genuine love for people. He was a great listener and provided words of wisdom and encouragement to all who knew him. He had a subtle sense of humor that would catch you off guard and keep you laughing for days. He loved music and playing drums. Not only was Christopher a photographer, he was the author of the book, "I Lived Through It But You Don't Have Too" and was in the process of writing his second book. Christopher turned his pain into purpose by sharing his experience to encourage and educate others. He constantly encouraged others to do the right thing and love unconditionally.
Christopher leaves behind his parents, Rev. Robert & Sis. Mary Elliott; his siblings, Natalie Elliott, R. Bryan & Sophia Elliott, Michael Elliott, Theresa Elliott, Benjamin & Tamika Elliott, and Cierra Elliott. He also leaves behind his 2 nephews and 2 nieces, Benjamin Adam, Bryce, Tamia, & Tiana Elliott. also, he leaves a community of extended family to include aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends, church members, an online community, and special friend Molly S. Kinchen.
Christopher's last words to the world and his online community were "words are seeds and we should plant wisely." He reminded us to speak positivity and live passionately.
