Danny Benjamin Erwin

Pastor Danny Benjamin Erwin "Danny Boy" 73 of Norfolk, Virginia, formerly of Cartersville Georgia. Passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Metropolitan Funeral Service , 268 Holladay St. Suffolk, Virginia. 

Danny was born in Cartersville, Georgia to Annette King and Oscar Benjamin Erwin, he was a beacon of faith, strength, and love throughout his life. Danny was ordained as a Pastor in 1981. Danny also served his country in the United States Navy for twelve and a half years. He was preceded in death by his wife ,Elizabeth Ann Erwin; mother, Annette King; and a dear brother, Ronald Erwin.

He is survived by his sister, Dianne (William) Chubbs,; fiancee, Annette Gregory; four daughters, Valerie, Amy, Abigail and Amanda; two sons, Michael and Daniel; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Metropolitan Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.
