Dessiree Camill Sheffield, 42 of Riverdale, Georgia. Formerly of Orlando, Florida passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 1:00P.M. at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. Dessiree Camill Sheffield was born “privileged” to Avery June Solomon of Orlando, Florida and Roy Sheffield of Miami, Florida, on September 26, 1982. She was educated in the Orange County School System, where she excelled in Math and Science. Dessiree loved dancing and was a graceful ballerina. She played soccer and had an interest in playing the French horn.
She loved looking out over the ocean and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. One can say that she was definitely a Beach Girl. Dessiree had many friends and she spent a lot of her time at Daytona Beach and Miami Beach.
She was employed at UEI College where she worked as a Senior Collections and Financial Advisor. Here is where she met the love of her life Devon Franklin her fiancé. She had just gotten promoted to a higher position in collections at her current job and purchased a new car that she had always dreamed of doing. Early in the morning on October 8,2024, God called her name, and she answered the call to be reunited with her grandparents, Edward Solomon and Willie Mae Fowler Solomon; uncles, Kinsey Lewis Solomon, Sr., Thomas Edward Solomon and our beloved Jolly Mitchell Solomon; aunts, Sharon Solomon Scrutchins, and Lois Jean Solomon Kellogg; cousins, Latesha Solomon Davenport and Joe Curtis Howard.
Dessiree leaves to cherish her memories, beloved mother, Avery June Solomon; her beloved fiancé, Devin Franklin; beloved brother, Gregory Edward Solomon (Christine Ann Bennington; family matriarch, Aunt Berlene Fowler Howard; special cousins, Alexia Howard, Kim Gilchrist, Brittany Jackson, and Lady Ward; her legacy will also be forever cherished in the hearts of her Florida Family; Lee Wilds and family, Judith Fenelus, Amber Martin, Samantha Tyler, Jhamiya Soford, Ilontay Cannady, and her Forever Soul Mate Sister, Jasmine Legister, Selene and Samir; and her favorite babies Cookie and Puddy (her dogs); and a host of other relatives and friends.
