Dwight Lanier Hill was born in Marietta Georgia on December 24, 1954 to the late Roger Hill and Johnnie Mae Mullins-Hill. He was raised in Kennesaw, Georgia with his family.
He graduated from North Cobb High School and received A Computer Building Certificate from North Metro Tech (now Chattahoochee Technical College).
Dwight had a kind spirit and always had a smile that warmed your heart. He enjoyed talking about the “good old days” and the ruckus he and his friends would get into while cruising around. During football season, Dwight could often be caught lounging in his recliner enjoying a game, and when he was quiet, you knew his team was losing.
Dwight retired from Lockheed Martin where he was employed for over 30 plus years. He married his childhood sweetheart, the love of his life, Shelia Clemons, and to this union, they were blessed with a beautiful son.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger Hill and Johnnie Mae Hill, and his brother, Bennie Hill.
Dwight leaves to cherish his memories and honor his life to his wife, Shelia Clemons-Hill; son, Dwight Hill, II (Charmion); grandson Dwight Hill, III; granddaughter Madelynn Hill; sister, Janice Hill; nephews, Karlos Hill (Tasha) and Kelvin Hill, and a host of other relatives and friends all whom loved him dearly!
