Mr. Eddie Lamar Evans, Jr. 41 of Adairsville, Georgia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement. This Service will be LIVE-STREAMED.
Eddie Lamar Evans, Jr. was born on January 31, 1985 to the late Eddie Lamar Evans, Sr. and Alisa Juanette Carter in Cartersville, Georgia.
Eddie Lamar Evans, Jr. was a lifelong resident of Adairsville, Georgia, Bartow County, and a proud graduate of Adairsville High School, Class of 2003. A standout athlete during hishigh school years (2001-2003), Eddie was known for his dedication, talent, and competitive spirit both on and off the field. He was a great man, father, friend, mentor, and coach. He hadd a deep love for life, but most of all , he loved his children and family beyond measure.
Eddie leaves to cherish his memories his five children, Ekian (Ashanti) Evans, Kayla Evans, Khloe Evans, Kyler Evans, and Kaice Evans; brothers, Jermaine Evans, and Cardele (Alexis) Carter;sister, Lynn Cunningham; a special cousin, Mercedes Carter; and many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and a very special friend and the mother of his children, Nicoyia Lawrence.
His presence, laughter, guidance, and strength will be deeply missed!!
