Eric Dana Gragg

Mr. Eric Dana Gragg 67, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, Georgia surrounded by his loving family. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Mack Eppinger And Sons Funeral Home, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120.  Eric Dana Gragg, affectionately known as "EG" passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on February 26, 1958, in Marietta, Georgia to Henry and Clara Gragg. Eric was raised in Acworth, where he grew up in a loving family with three siblings. He attended North Cobb High School and  was known in his youth for his love of basketball, baseball, and his bright , joyful spirit.

EG was a man of many talents. He worked a a concrete finisher and asphalt worker and found joy in the simple pleasure of fishing. Though quiet in nature, his laugh had the power to light up any room. Those who knew Eric will always remember the warmth of his presence and the way he could turn any moment into a good time. Eric's greatest love was his family. He was a devoted father to his seven children; Teneca Gragg, Tamia Boyd, Eric Dana Gragg Jr., Daron Gragg, Macy Stanley (Leslie), Pangela Gragg, and Jasmine Gragg. He was a proud grandfather to 25 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, all of whom adored their "PawPaw".

He is survived by his loving mother, Clara Gragg; siblings, Ramona Gragg, Julius Gragg, and Selena Griggs (Chris). Eric is preceded in death by his father, Henry Gragg; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his beloved granddaughter, Milan.

To his family and friends EG was more than a loved one- he was everyone's partner in crime, always ready with a smile and a good time. His legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will live on in the hearts of all that knew him.
