Gregory Ted Peeks

Mr. Gregory Ted Peeks, 57, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away peacefully on Friday, November 13, 2020.

A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at PROVIDENCE CEMETERY, 165 OLD TENNESSEE ROAD, CARTERSVILLE, GA 30121.

Due to COVID-19 regulations and guidelines, physical distancing practices will be in place, and MASK ARE REQUIRED for those that will be in attendance. The family is the main concern during this time of bereavement and space will be limited. We have to ensure that the family is able to attend the service, so there is a possibility of some friends not being admitted. However, the service will be LIVE-STREAMED.

Mr. Gregory Ted Peeks was born on April 15, 1963 in Cartersville, Georgia to John Reuben Peeks and Mildred Heard-Peeks.  On Friday, November 13, 2020 Mr. Peeks made a peaceful transition into the arms of our loving Savior.  Greg was educated in the Cartersville City School System.  He worked alongside his father and brother at Peeks Appliance Repair Service for many years.

Greg had a love for art, hunting, fishing, and lived life to the fullest.  He was one of a kind and someone you would never forget once you crossed paths.  To know Greg was to love him!

Loving memories will always be cherished by his children, Kendale McAfee, Megan Hightower (Jerry), and Gregory Corbin Peeks; grandchildren, Amare Florence, Elijah Peeks, Jaelah Hightower, London McAfee and Sydney McAfee; parents, John Reuben Peeks and Mildred Heard-Peeks; siblings, John Jeffery Peeks (Alpha), Sandra Williams, Julie Peeks, and Anessia Loyal (Carlen); aunts, Margie Liggons and Georgia Bell Richey; uncles, Claude Peeks and Ernest Dean; special cousins and friends, Lorenzo ‘Junior’ Morris, Anthony Askew, Janice Owens, and Rhonda Carter; and a host of relatives and friends.
