Jose Haro Rodriguez

Mr. Jose H. Rodriguez, 57, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 12:00pm (Noon) at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Chapel, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, GA 30120. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, 319 North Erwin Street, Cartersville, GA 30120.

Jose Haro Rodriguez was born on March 19, 1963 to Magdaleno Rodriguez and Francisca Haro in Pochotitan, Nayarit where he was raised. 

Jose was educated in his home town, along with his 8 siblings.  He arrived in the U.S. in his early 20’s.  He resided in Baldwin Park California up until 2006 and worked at Garfield Medical Center as a patient transporter.  For 20 years Jose worked a second job to provide for his family.  He devoted his free time to his children and family by having cookouts on the weekends, taking his kids to their favorite burger place, and many amusement parks.  In 2006 Jose moved to Cartersville, Georgia where he worked at Shaw Inc. for 11 years.  Jose loved deer hunting, hiking, building things from scratch, and most importantly, he enjoyed spending his time in the house of the Lord.  Jose surrendered his life to Christ in 2016. 

Jose was a great man who loved his family. He was a great provider, a hard worker, sociable, and saying he was a jokester is an understatement.  Even during his weakest, toughest times he managed to make us laugh and smile.  There is no doubt that any person who came in contact with Jose had the chance to experience a laugh or two.  Overall, he had a big heart. 

Jose leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife, Aracely Rodriguez; 6 children; 7 grandchildren; and a host of other family members, loved ones and friends.
