Jacquita Jealwon Green, aka "JJ" passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Piedmont Healthcare of Cartersville surrounded by her loving family. A Funereal Service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 1:00P.M. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 106 Fire Tower Road NW, Cassville, Georgia 30120. The body will lie in state from 12:00PM (Noon) until the hour of service. Interment will follow in Cassville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 6:00PM - 7:00PM at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement. This service will be LIVE-STREAMED.
JJ as she was known to all that knew her was born on January 25, 1984 to James and Wonderful Green in Cartersville, Georgia. She was educated in the Bartow County School System, attending Cass High School and graduating with the Class of 2002.
She accepted Christ at a young age and was a lifetime member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Cassville. JJ loved listening to music and enjoying social media. Her family was very important to her and she did everything for them.
She was employed with Dollar Tree and she loved her job, always helping customers find that perfect item that they were looking for. JJ was a very special employee to her co-workers and they all loved her. Her parents meant the world to her and she made sure that they had all the caregiving they needed.
JJ is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Romunde McClure, Jr.; grandparents, Walter and Mary Emma Green and George and Marie Gainor; aunt, Glenese Green Bates and her cousin Cecelia DeLynn Flowers.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving sons, Emmanuel (Eman) Green and Tavaris (TJ) Green; parents, James W. Green and Wonderful Green; her fiancé, Richard Garmon; brother, Allen (Tony) Garrison; niece, Analyssa Bradford of Cleveland, Tennessee; aunt, Minister Addie Allen of Dalton, Georgia; special family friend, Dianne Wiggins; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
