James Foster Moore, 69 of White, Georgia passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 11:00A.M. at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. The body will lie in state in the chapel from 10:00A.M. until the hour of service.
Mr. James Foster Moore was born in Cartersville on January 21, 1954 to the late Betty Jewell Moore and Sam Wilkey. He was educated in the Bartow County School System. After graduating he enlisted in the United States Navy. James was affectionately called “Dickey Boy” by his family and friends. He was a dedicated employee of Kennesaw State College until his retirement. James met and married Mary Freeman and to this union two daughter were born; Jamie and Wendy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Wendy Moore; Sister, Cynthia Taylor and nephew, Norman Moore Jr.
Left to cherish his loving memory, wife, Mary Moore; daughter, Jamie Moore and son, Jonathan Lawrence; Siblings, Janice (Allen) Banks, Ella Perkinson, Norman Moore Sr., Ricky Moore, Betty
Moore, Joe Wilkey, Jeffery Wilkey, Joe Benham and Randy Henderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a very close friend, Henry Wilson and many other friends.
