James Paul Summerour, Jr., 26 of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. The body will lie in state in the church from 12:00P.M. (Noon) until the hour of service. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery, 165 Old Tennessee Road NE , Cartersville, Georgia 30121. James Paul Summerour, Jr. was born on May 18, 1998 in Cartersville, Georgia to Cathy Anders and James Summerour, Sr. He was educated in the City of Cartersville School System. He enjoyed playing basketball and fishing with his friends. James was employed with Bojangles.

James was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thurston C. and Daisy P. Durrah.

He is survived by his parents, James Summerour, Sr. and Cathy Anders; former foster mother, Terri A. Durrah; siblings, Christy Summerour, Tiffany Tipps, Aaron Summerour., Michael Summerour, Adam Fisher, James C. Durrah,II, Lewis V. Durrah, N. Mitchell L. Watters, Mykah S. Hurley, Perssia G. Durrah, Destiny L. Durrah, Julia M. Durrah, and Maliyah D. Dillard; aunts, Juanita Swaggerty and Sharon Glover; and a host of other relatives and friends.
