Mr. Jerry Worthy, 56, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 24, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Oak Hill Cemetery, 319 North Erwin Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120.

Due to COVID-19 regulations and guidelines, physical distancing practices will be in place, and MASK ARE REQUIRED for those that will be attending the service. the family is the main concern during this time of bereavement and space will be limited. we have to ensure the family is able to attend the service, so there is a possibility of some friends not being admitted. However, the service will be LIVE-STREAMED.

On Sunday, January 24, 2021, God called Jerry Worthy home to receive his gift of eternal life and peace. Jerry was born November 25, 1964. Jerry was a light to every room that he entered. He was a joy to everyone's life who he came in contact with. His spontaneous spirit, giving heart, and contagious laughter is something we will always remember him by.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother Helen Worthy, his brother Michael Worthy,nephew De'Anthony Carson and special friends Michael Hudson and Waylond George.

He leaves to cherish his smile and loving personality his sisters; Minnie Knight, Sheila Winters, Teresa Hammond (Warren), Vannessa Bryant, Cynthia Bryant, and Deborah Montgomery; brothers, Alex Bryant (Mary Bryant), Ricky Bryant Jackson, Scotty Bryant (Shannon Bryant), a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly; special friends, Tomar McClendon, Beth Dalton, Antonio Ledbetter, Allen Moore, Montell Ledbetter, Kevin George, Mesha Ledbetter, Shanna Hudson, Tash Henry, Sharon Johnson and Stephanie Johnson.
