Mr. Jody Lennell Thomas, 46 of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at his residence in Bartow County. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. The body will lie in state in the chapel from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.  The final Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on May 17, 2025 at Northside Church of Christ, 2400 North Grand Avenue East, Springfield, Illinois 62703, under the care of Walker Funeral Service & Chapel, Springfield, Illinois. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, 1441 Monument Avenue, Springfield, Illinois 62703. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement.
