Katherine Bryant (Bryant) Boyce

Ms. Katherine Bryant Boyce, 81 of Atlanta, Georgia formerly of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 12:00PM (Noon) at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM until the hour of service.

Katherine Bryant Boyce was born on February 15, 1941 to the late Luther Bryant,Sr. and Katherine Henderson Bryant. She graduated from Summer Hill High School with the Class of 1958. After graduation she attended Morris Brown College and graduated proudly with the Class of 1962. She was a great supporter, and attended many functions at her Alma Mater.

Katherine was a lifelong member of St. Luke A.M.E. Church and she had a strong relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was affectionately known as "Peggy" and she enjoyed life to the fullest. Peggy enjoyed traveling and attending Summer Hill High School Class Reunions. She was best known for her beautiful  smile and her favorite red lipstick. Peggy was a "Classy Lady", always had her hair done and nails looking fabulous. She was a giver and family was important to her. She was definitely not a complainer, when you went to her for advice she would say "pick and choose your battles" because some battles are not worth it.

Katherine leaves to cherish her memories; sons, Joseph A. Boyce (Tony) and Je Vaughn A. Boyce (Vaughn); siblings, Carol Bryant Gamble, Willie LeRoy Bryant; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
