Laura Ann Callahan, 73, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at House of Liberty Church, 10 Womack Drive SE, Cartersville, Georgia 30121. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement. The service will be LIVE-STREAMED.
Laura Ann Callahan was born June 4, 1950 in Bartow County to the late George, Sr., & Hazel Belle Wofford Callahan. She was educated in the Summer Hill School System.
She united with the love of her life Kenneth Ray Linley. She was blessed to have four lovely children Kirk, Stephen, BeTrina and DeAnda.
Laura Ann was a member of New Beginning Church of God in Christ where she attended until her health wouldn’t allow her to attend anymore. She worked at Bench Mark for several years until she found her passion working as a private caregiver. Laura Ann loved cooking, baking, singing, dancing and sewing. She found pleasure in spoiling her nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her personality was so bright, that she was elected as the wittiest of her class. She raised her children to love each other and to respect others.
Her parents George Sr., and Hazel preceded Laura Ann in death; the love of her life, Kenneth Ray, brothers George Jr., William, Carl, Edward and Floyd; sister, Peggy Sue; grandson Jeremy; stepson Brian; sister in law Annie Mae; and brother in law Clifford.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her loving children, Kirk Alexander (Benita), Stephen Lamart (Tasha), BeTrina Nichelle, DeAnda Nicole, Kenneth Darby and Christopher Brown; 15 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; brothers, Joseph (Joe), and Erwin (Marilyn); sister, Betty Ruth; sisters in laws, Glenda, Doris, and Betty; a favorite brother in law Charles; and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
