Mr. Leroy Mitchell, 79 of Cartersville, Georgia formerly of Savannah, Georgia passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2023 surrounded by his loving family at Piedmont Healthcare Cartersville. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 147 Jones Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. The body will lie in state in the church from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery, 2025 Mount Carmel Church Lane, Canton, Georgia 30114. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. This service will be LIVE-STREAMED.
