Mr. Lewis Julis Beard, Jr., 34 of Cartersville, Georgia passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 23, 2020. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 1:00P.M. at Providence Cemetery, 165 Old Tennessee Rd. NE, Cartersville, GA. 30121.

 Lewis Julis Beard, Jr. was born on May 20, 1986 in Baxley, Georgia to Bernadette Boyd and Lewis Beard, Sr. He was educated in the Bartow County System and graduated from Cass High with the class of 2005. He was an active member of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Bishop Johnny Blount. Lewis was a very selfless and compassionate person, who showed love to everyone he met. As a child he developed a love for cars, and in his spare time he enjoyed working on cars. The joy of his life was his daughter, Jasmine; who thought her dad was smarter and wiser than “ Albert Einstein”.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Willie Sr. and Dorothy Love; paternal grandparents, Norman Sr. and Mary Lila Beard; aunt, Priscilla Love; and nephew, Malik Beard.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, daughter, Jasmine Beard; parents Lewis Sr.and Bernadette Beard Boyd; sisters, Natasha, Ashley, Bernisha Beard and Faith Boyd; nieces, Amya, Maliyah and Cambriyah Beard; nephew, Brayden Beard; cousins, Tymeishla, David and Shanika Love, Jatara Pines and Shanterica Wiggins; godbrothers, DeAndre and Devonte Turner. Special family friends, Derek and Monica Gober, and a host of other relatives and friends.
