Mrs. Louise Elaine Moore Bray, 80, of Cartersville, Georgia peacefully fell asleep in death on June 5, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 5, 1946 in Cartersville, Georgia, to the late Gordon Moore, Sr. and Ruby Weems Moore.

Louise was educated in the Bartow County School System attending and graduating from Summer Hill High School where she was a member of the Majorette Squad. On May 1, 1970 Louise married Roger Phillip Bray and they were inseparable for just over 56 years.

Louise was employed by Sam Howell Memorial Hospital which later became Humana Hospital/ Cartersville Medical Center. She worked there for over 25 years as a Dietary Supervisor. She was well known as a hard worker, and a kind, friendly leader who was affectionately addressed by many there as "Mrs. Weezie".

Louise was a great wife, mother and grandmother who loved unconditionally. Her love for Bible truths moved her to dedicate her life to serving Jehovah, following Jesus' example. She symbolized this dedication by water baptism on August 22, 2009, becoming one of Jehovah's Witnesses. As a longtime member of the West Cartersville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, she was strong in her faith and set a good example for all others. Louise was always positive, full of life, and was loved by everyone. Anyone who truly knew her, knows that some of her passions were cooking, gardening, letter writing, fishing and watching sports on TV with Roger. Her primary passion though , was faithfully serving Jehovah and sharing with others what she'd learned about him from the Bible. She especially enjoyed volunteering much of her time to the door-to door ministry. Since so many in Bartow County knew her kind manner and smiling face, they were often moved to listen to the scriptural message she shared.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Johnny L. Moore, Andrew (Andy- Bubba) Moore, Leonard Calvin (LC) Moore, Gordon Moore, Jr., one brother deceased at birth, and two sisters, Emma Templeton and Ruby Steen Fezzia.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 56 years, Roger Phillip Bray of Cartersville, Georgia; sister, Faith Moore Hardnett of Fayetteville, Georgia; her children, Dorothea Wade (Jonathan) of Cartersville, Georgia, Rosalind Bray of Cartersville, Georgia, Tara Allen (Theodore) of Snellville, Georgia, Lakelia Bray McCann of Austell, Georgia, and Edgar Moore of Cartersville, Georgia; five grandchildren, Adam Wade of Cartersville, Georgia, Erica Wade of New York, Michael Tart(Brea), Andrew Goggins and Raven Bray all of Cartersville, Georgia; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and many spiritual Brothers and Sisters.
