Mary Irene Jackson Weaver went home to be with our Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. She was a very devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mary was born on January 14, 1944 in Pine Log, Georgia. Her mother died when she only twelve years old leaving her to raise her brothers, while attending high school. She was taught everything she needed to know to take care of her brothers. Later she married and moved to Taylorsville, Georgia where she started her first job at Meggitt, Inc. Mary retired from Meggitt after 30 years and began working for Kentucky Fried Chicken for 15 years until she became ill. She was an awesome person and a very dedicated worker.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Viola Jackson; three brothers, Walter Jackson, James Jackson and Emmit Jackson; and one sister, Minnie Jackson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories; three daughters, Lottie Wilson (Tyrus), Florence Stocks (Kevin), and Minnie Murphy (Anthony); two sons, Willie and Walter Weaver; seven grandkids; nine great grandchildren; one niece, Wendy Walton; one nephew, Ricky Jackson; and a host of cousins and friends that will greatly miss her loving spirit.
Due to COVID-19 regulations and guidelines, physical distancing practices will be in place, and MASK ARE REQUIRED for those that will be admitted to the service. The family is the main concern during this time of bereavement and space will be limited.
