Master Jon Robert Rosenthal, 18 months, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025 at Arthur M. Blank Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
A memorial service for Jon will take place on Sunday, May 18, 2025, 2:00 P.M. at Marietta Street United Methodist Church, 401 Robert L. Parks Blvd., Cedartown, Georgia 30125.
Master Jon, born on November 11, 2023, in Carrefour, Haiti to Michael and Fabiola Rosenthal, was a bright light in this world, whose time here was far too brief but filled with love, laughter, and joy. Jon was born with a terminal illness, which brought him to the United States shortly after his birth. On Monday, May 5, 2025, Jon peacefully transitioned from being an Angel on earth to becoming our Angel in Heaven, answering the call of Jesus.
Jon received exceptional care at Arthur M. Blank Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, where he was surrounded by love and comfort. Despite his short time with us, Jon left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. His radiant smile could light up any room, and his laughter was contagious. Jon had a special love for applesauce and bananas. He found great delight in watching his favorite cartoon, Cocomelon, and it never failed to make him giggle. His love for music was evident as he would happily rock and dance to the rhythm, a reminder of the joy he shared with those around him. Jon also loved attending services at Marietta Street United Methodist Church, where he received every one’s time and attention.
Jon’s short legacy and spirit will live on in the hearts of his parents, Michael and Fabiola; his siblings, Danielle Rosenthal, Cayla Rosenthal, Terry Rosenthal, and Mondar Agransay Fils Nicolas; his grandparents in Haiti; his Godmother, Carla Peeks; his aunt, Laurie (Edward) Carbone; and a wide extended family of loved ones in the U.S., including Betty Peeks, Sheri Peeks, Shawn Peeks, Jalesha Holiday, Shanterria Peeks, Keonna Clowers, Jayden Weems, Kylar Wise, Braylen Merritt, Jordynn Merritt, Taliyah Walker, Sonya McCoy, and a very special Angel on earth, Kenya Robbins.
Jon will forever be remembered by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched with his infectious smile and radiant spirit.
Mack Eppinger & Sons Funeral Service, Inc. has full charge of arrangements.
