Maudistine Mallory Dudley, 71 of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 1:00PM at Bethlehem Temple Church, 401 Nixon Avenue SW, Rome, Georgia 30161. The body will lie in state in the church from 12:00PM (Noon) until the hour of service. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery, Rome, Georgia. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement.
Sister Maudistine Mallory Dudley (Moddy) was born in Rome, Georgia, on March 27, 1952 to the late Rosa Mae Lawrence and the late Claude Ellis Mallory. Sister Dudley transitioned to her external home on December 2, 2023 in Austell, Georgia. She gave her life to Christ and was baptized during her early age at Bethlehem Temple Holiness Church under the leadership of the late Bishop David Wesley Braziel, Sr.
Sister Dudley later relocated to Marietta, Georgia and served under the leadership of Apostle Thomas Vinson at Highpoint Christian Tabernacle in Smyrna, Georgia. She was a great woman of God. She enjoyed ministry outreach, singing in the choir and spending quality time with family and friends.
Sis Dudley was a graduate of Main High School in Rome, Georgia then later obtained a LPN license from Coosa Valley Tech, she also obtained her Registered Nurse License from Floyd College. She enjoyed working at Floyd Medical center, Grady Memorial Hospital, and Private Agencies. Her expertise was pediatric care.
She survived her mother, Rosa Lawrence, father, Claude Mallory, and sister, Claudette Mallory Dorsey.
Sister Dudley was married to Timothy Dudley October 4, 1987. She leaves to cherish her memories to one sister, Beverly Finch of Covington Kentucky; three children, Tearia Wilburn (Raymond Wilburn) of Cartersville, Ga, Lateka Dammond of Stockbridge, Ga, and April Dammond of Stockbridge, Ga. ; four step-children, Takisha Dudley, Tamara Bryant, Timothy Deray Dudley, Timalyn Dudley; eight grandchildren, Jasmine Elliott, Kenbryia Dammond, Zakir Bennett, Harmonii Bennett, Raymond Wilburn Jr., Rayden Wilburn, Raymire Wilburn, and Ryan Wilburn ; twelve step-children; nine great grandchildren ; two special nieces, Demetrica Mallory and Pamela Mallory; and a host of great nieces and great nephews.
