Michelle Beatrice Cook Stewart gained her wings on May 3rd, 2022. We were not ready for her to leave, but her Heavenly Father called her home.
Michelle was born on June7, 1959 to the late Obadiah Cook and Sallie Lue Cook in Newark, New Jersey. She grew up in the New Jersey area and was educated in the Essex County School System.. Michelle attended Abraham Clark High School graduating with the Class of 1977. After graduating from high school she relocated to Georgia, residing in Lithia Springs, Michelle later moved to Cartersville, Georgia. Michelle was a family oriented person and a hard workingwoman. She had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it.
She enjoyed being with her children and her grandchildren. She loved cooking and watching the Food Network Channel and Game Shows. Her health started to fail her and she continued to push forward in life. She was a fighter until the end and all will truly miss her. Michelle loved life and now the Lord has her in His Hands where she can sing and dance around Heaven All Day.
Her parents; brother, Robert Glen Cook; and her baby sister Margie Denise Cook-Fernan precede her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Rodney (Tahesha) Cook, Obadiah Williams, Shelby Williams, Aaliyha Masey, and Nephateria Williams; grandchildren; siblings, Michael Cook and Roy Cook; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
