Mr. Paul Andrew Ramsey, Sr.

Mr. Paul Andrew Ramsey, Sr., 55, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away suddenly on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Cartersville Medical Center.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Oak Hill Cemetery, 319 North Erwin Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120.

Due to COVID-19 regulations and guidelines, physical distancing practices will be in place, and MASK ARE REQUIRED for those that will be admitted to the service. The family is the main concern during this time of bereavement and space will be limited. We have to ensure the family is able to attend, so there is a possibility of some friends not being admitted. However, the service will be LIVE-STREAMED.

Paul Andrew Ramsey, Sr. was born on February 8, 1966 in Cartersville, Georgia to the late John Ramsey,Sr. and his loving mother Marie Ellis Ramsey. He was educated in the Bartow County School System and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. Paul was a star football player and loved showing off his talents every chance he got. He was a natural when it came to any sport, and he loved sharing stories about what he did on the field.

Paul was employed at Woodstock Furniture Outlet for 17 years. He loved working in his yard and keeping his cars clean. He had a great LOVE for his family.

Paul had a loving and caring heart and loved telling a few "good ones" to his friends and family! His smile would light up any room and he had a passion for making others laugh. His favorite thing to do was watching his New Orleans Saints!!

Along with this father he was proceeded in death by his grandparents Cleo and Louise Ellis, Henry and Bertha Richards Ramsey; aunts, Ella Mae, Geraldine, and Selena Ellis; Frankie North; uncles, Willie Lee Brown, and Buddy Ramsey.

Paul leaves to cherish his memories, three beautiful children, Caretta Fezzia, Maya Ramsey and Paul Andrew Ramsey, Jr. (Drew); his loving mother, Marie Ramsey; three siblings, Wanda Green, John Ramsey, Jr. (Shontella), Henry Ramsey; three grandchildren, Auston, Amaya and Christopher Davis; one great grandchild, Emory Davis; his fiancee' Shynetria DeLoach; two aunts, Lillian Ellis and Florence Canty; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
