Mrs. Frances Gainor Obituary

Mrs. Frances Eloise Gainor, 86, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. A Private Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 1:00PM at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 210 N. Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 1020 Mission Road, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. The body will lie in state in the chapel from 12:00PM (Noon) until the hour of service.

Due to COVID-19 regulations and guidelines, physical distancing practices will be in place, and MASK ARE REQUIRED for those that will be attending the service. The family is the main concern during this time of bereavement and space will be limited. We have to ensure the family is able to attend, so there is a possibility of some friends not being admitted. However, the service will be LIVE-STREAMED.

Frances Hall Gainor of Rome, Georgia gained her wings on Friday, May 7, 2021. She was born on June 4, 1934 to the late Eugene Hall and Corinne Rogers Carson. At an early age Frances accepted Christ and later joined Mt. Zion Grassdale Church. She grew up in Rome and later moved to Cassville, Georgia where she attended Noble Hill School. Frances was married to the late Jesse Gainor and together they raised 3 children, Darrell, Roger and Felicia. She worked for Springdale Convalescent Home until her retirement after many years of service. Her hobbies included fishing, baking and crossword puzzles. She lived a life fulfilled with memories in every way, touching the hearts and lives of all who knew her. She was always willing to help those around her doing whatever she could. Frances had a great sense of humor with a radiant smile and a warm heart. Over the years she collected a few nicknames from her children and grandson. Dexter called her “Ole gal”, Roger called her “Lil Girl”, Felicia called her “Baby bird”, and Courtney called her “Momma Frances”.

She is preceded in death by her husband, daughter Tammy Hall, parents, and sister Mildred Naomi Milton.

She leaves to cherish her beloved children, Darrell O. Gainor, Roger (Polly) L. Gainor, Felicia (Manuel) C. Montoya, and Dexter (Trena) S. Hall; grandchildren, Brettney U. Moore, Sr., Courtney L. Gainor, and Jantisha T. Gainor; great-grandchildren, Ashanti Kimbral, Lashaun T. Gainor, Brettney U. Moore, Jr. and Ze’Mari Zy’eir Brown; nieces and nephews, Paul (True Helen) E. Gamble, Veronica (Welton) K. Hutchins, Kimberly (Phillip) S. Abston and Christopher L. Milton. Special family, Bill and Annette Rogers; special friends, Mary Lee Valdes, Louise McGregor, Marilyn Benham and Henry Thomas; and a  host of other relatives and friends.
