Mrs. Teresa Kaye Gadson Green was born April 29, 1956 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Lonnie Gadson and Annie Gadson. She was educated in the Vanderburgh School System graduating from Central High School with the Class of 1974.

After graduation she attended the University of Alabama getting her degree in Social Services. In the midst of having many different jobs, she became employed with Morehouse School of Medicine. She was employed with Morehouse Call Center as an Operator for thirty years. She was highly respected and a pleasant person to work with on her job and everyone loved her.

Teresa met and married the love of her life, Charles Green, Jr. and to this union two children were born, Charles III, and Ortega.

She enjoyed spending time with her boys, cooking and sewing. But her favorite pastime was laughing and enjoying her family to the fullest.

Her husband, Charles Green, Jr. and her parents preceded her in death.

Teresa leaves to cherish her memories, sons, Ortega and Charles Green; sisters, Ruth Scott and Julia Royalty; nieces and nephews, Melissa Scott, Ciara Sanders, Aaron Gadson and Alexander Royalty; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Special thanks goes out to the staff at Morehouse School of Medicine for all they have done for our dear sweet Mother.

No words or things in this world can compare to your heart. You gave us unconditional love from the start. As you would say “Thank you all, I truly appreciate it. In God’s arms I made. Amen!!In divine winds my heart, my soul and spirit leave Rembrandt’s of love…Remember sadness is temporary as genuine love is forever. Embrace my humble kindness and cherish the essence of my life.
