Mrs. Tyland Nicole (Thomas) Robinson

Mrs. Tyland Nicole Thomas Robinson, 32, of Cartersville, Georgia passed Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family along with Pastor Randy B. Livsey and First Lady Beverly Livsey at her bedside.

Service for Mrs. Robinson will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025, 12:00 P.M. at Greater Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 1 Mt. Olive Street, Cartersville, Georgia, 30120.  She will lie in-state from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service.  Interment will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery, 319 N. Erwin Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Mack Eppinger & Sons Funeral Home, 210 N. Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. This service will be LIVE-STREAMED.

Tyland was born on December 15, 1992 to Nicole Smith and the late Darryl E. Thomas, Sr. She was educated in the Cartersville City School System where she was immersed in the Mechanicsville and Summer Hill Community that would be her lifelong support from an early age.

She graduated from Cartersville High School with the Class of 2011. In 2020, Tyland received her Bachelor of Science Degree and then in December of 2024 she received her MBA with a concentration of Healthcare Management from Shorter University.

Tyland was employed with SWBC Mortgage, which became an extended part of her family (Terry “ Shane” and Leslie Siniard) for the past eight years.

She loved the Lord and was baptized at the Greater Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Michael E. Sutton. She attended church with her loving family and participated in the Youth Department. Tyland was once voted “Little Miss Mount Olive” and she wore her crown with dignity.

Her favorite things to do included going to concerts, travelling, shopping and cooking. At an early age, Tyland and her father shared a common interest…COOKING AND EATING; she would cook for her Great- Grandmother Ruth and Great- Aunt Mary Frances; during which she stated that she was going to own her very own restaurant and it was going to bee called …Ooh La La.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Aaron Christopher Robinson and to this union God blessed them with a son, Adrian Carter Robinson whom she adored. Together as a family, they travelled, played board games and spent endless days and weekends at Adrian’s extracurricular sporting activities.

On Thursday, March 6, 2025, Tyland peacefully departed this life and entered her eternal home where her loving family members welcomed her: The BenhamNation and the Thomas and Kincaid Families.

Her father, Darryl E. Thomas, Sr. precedes Tyland in death, along with her mother-in-law, Kimberly Regina Scott Robinson; grandparents, Thurman Smith, Jr. and Esa Thomas; great-grandparents, Henry and Ruth Shaw, and Thurman, Sr. and Mary Willie Smith; special aunt, Ruth Ann Freeman; and a special uncle, John Kincaid.

Tyland leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband, Aaron C. and her adored son, Adrian C.; a devoted mother, Nicole Smith; father-in-law, Perron Robinson; siblings, Eric Williams, Kaylesha Williams, Deanna Postell, Darryl Thomas,Jr., Nina Johnson and Brooklyn Thomas; beloved grandparents, Hedy B. Smith and Elizabeth Ann Thomas; loving and devoted aunts, Stevetta (Earl) Tillage, Angela (Calvin) Cooley and Mary Jackson; uncles, Samuel Smith , Albuquerque, NM, Rodney Smith , Michael (Cassandra) Thomas, Jacksonville, AK, and James Smith  ; great aunts, Cathy Freeman and Natalie Lewis; great uncles, George (Sara) Benham, Leon (Norma) Venable, Zion, IL. Curtis (Tiffanie) Shaw, Memphis, TN and Annis Lewis; brother-in-laws, Lorenzo,Bel-Air, MD, and Perron “PJ” Robinson; special cousins, DeMarco, Tevin and Kayla Smith, Autumn and Caleb Cooley; and a host of other relatives and friends.
