Ms. Linda High Obituary

Ms. Linda High, 72, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed on Saturday, March 21, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

A Private Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. The service will be live streamed for well wishers to view. Please keep this family in your prayers as they go through this time of bereavement.

Linda was born on January 6, 1948 in Rockmart, Georgia to the late Lamus and Vera Christopher. She joined Wesley Chapel AME Church at an early age. She was educated in the Polk County School System, graduating from Elm Street High School with the Class of 1965. Linda's love for taking care of people led her to pursue a career in Nursing. She Graduated from Shorter College with a Nursing Degree.

After working for several hospitals she was blessed to open her own personal care home "Th Christopher House". Whens she was not working, you could find her spending time with her family, cooking and having family dinners.

Linda met and married Cecil Ray High and to this union two children were born, although she had two children prior, Cecil raised all of them as his own.

She is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Gloria Mae Baker; nephew, Cales Christopher and grandson, Darien High.

Linda leaves to cherish her wonderful memories, her children, Veleria Leveston, Terrell Christopher (Christy), Hillery High (Shundra) and Christopher High (Yika); ex-husband, Cecil Ray High; thirteen grandchildren, Alexis, Kayla, Kahalia, La'Chris, Shaquille, Hakeem, Maelan, Andrew, Miya, Ah'Oaria, Celine, Bobby and Amzaia; seven great-grandchildren, Maddex, Jonathan, Jaylan, Ellianna Rose, Chancellor, Beckham and Jan'nae; one brother, Timothy Christopher (Kathy); one niece, Connella Christopher, and a host of other nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Barry Hunter and Pam Sattlefield will always cherish the special relationship they had with her.
