Obituary

Ms. Norma Jean Moore, 52, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023, 2:00 PM, at Friendship Baptist Church, 128 Martin Luther King Drive, Adairsville, Georgia 30103. The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia. Please keep the Moore and Stevenson family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement.

To The Almighty God Be the Glory. God kept His promise “Where I am,
there ye will be also.”

Early Friday morning on February 25, 2023, God kept His promise and took Norma Jean Moore to her heavenly home.

Norma Jean was born December 4, 1970 to JoAnn Carson and the late Adolph Knight both of Cartersville, Georgia.
She received her education with the Cartersville School System and graduate with the Class of 1989.

Norma joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and later united with The Greater Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Michael Sutton .Norma spent all of her time with her children and grandchildren.
She adored her big brother Brian K. Stevenson who is now the Pastor of Friendship Baptist Church in Adairsville. Norma was always following her brother wherever he went, she was like his shadow.
Norma was employed with Shaw Industries and was a faithful and handworker until her health failed her.

Her father, Adolph Knight; grandparents, Joe Dave and Mary Ann Moore; Jack and Bessie Knight ; and Aunt Geneva Allison precede Norma in death.


She leaves to cherish her memories three loving children, Eric Cole, Jr, Brandon Cole and Makiya Cole; four grandchildren, Amaya, Ruby, Gracie and Enzley Cole; her mother, JoAnn Carson;brother Pastor Brian K. Stevenson; two aunts, Liller Dean and Terri Moore; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
