Odis Pritchett, Jr.

Mr. Odis Pritchett of Cartersville, Georgia passed away peacefully on Monday, July 27, 2020.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, GA 30120. The body will lie in state in the chapel from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

Mr. Odis Pritchett, Jr. was born on May 18, 1949 in Bartow County to the late Odis Pritchett, Sr. and Lois Kennedy Pritchett.  Odis joined Queens Chapel at an early age, and remained a member until his passing. He was educated in the Bartow County School System, attending Summer Hill and graduating from Cass High with the class of 1970. Odis met and married the love of his life the late Lillie Dodson and to this union two beautiful children were born.  He was last employed with Krystal’s as a cook, and prior to that Odis worked for Goodyear for ten years, Kessler's and Georgia Kraft.

Odis enjoyed watching, Westerns, fishing, and following his favored football teams.  The highlight of his day and everyday was spending time with his family.

He will be re-united with those awaiting his arrival, his parents; wife, Lillie; and sister, Emma Lois Pritchett.

He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Taurean and Risha; one granddaughter, Eva Slaton; one brother, Leon (Polly) Pritchett; niece, Clarissa; and a host of  other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
