Ms. Peggy Gail Hutchen,72 of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Saturday September 3, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held on held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home Chapel at 210 N. Bartow Street at 12:00PM (Noon). Ms. Peggy Gail Hutchen was born August 23, 1950 in Taylorsville, Georgia to the late Mr. Charlie Hutchen Sr. and Mrs. Vannie Albert Hutchen. On Saturday, September 3, 2022 she answered the call of the Lord and took her eternal rest. Peggy was educated in the Bartow School System graduating from Cass High School in 1969.
Peggy was a very loving and giving person and she always showed it to everyone she knew or met. She loved her flowers and hummingbird puzzles for this was her pastime. She loved working with the public she worked at Spring Knitting for a short time. Peggy wasn’t satisfied with that so she took a passion in working in the various Nursing Homes in the area. Peggy found a place that she felt comfortable in and accepted a job with Townsend Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cartersville where she worked until she retired. She will be loved and missed by many but now she is at a peaceful rest.
Her parents; one sister and four brothers precede her in death.
Left to cherish her loving memories are; her life long partner and soul mate of forty-two years, Mr. James Owens, Jr.; one step-son James Owens III; three sisters, Pearl Jackson, Betty Parker; Nancy Turner; one brother, George Hutchen; a very special friend Courtney Buckley; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
