On the evening of August 13, 2020 the Lord called HIs faithful servant Roosevelt Morris, Jr. home.
Roosevelt Morris, Jr. was born on June 13, 1952 in Marietta, Georgia to the late Roosevelt and Cleo Morris. He was educated in the Cobb County School System where he was an excellent football player. Toobutt wasn't a stranger to working. He worked at Day's Chevrolet, Coats and Clark and with his cousins Construction Company.
He was also a member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church and attended Bethel A.M.E. both of Acworth, Georgia. Roosevelt had a big heart, he would give you the shirt off his back. Toobutt cherished his friendships and would definitely help you in a fight.
Like all of us , he made mistakes in life, but he made his peace with God. Roosevelt had grown very sick in his final days, but he would still share a story and a few laughs.
He is preceded in death by his two brothers; Joe Mitchell and Roy Strickland; two sisters, Shirley Morris and Dianne Morris.
Roosevelt leaves to cherish his memory; a loving sister, China Ann Blalock (Randolph); very close cousins, Roxanne Kelly and James Furr; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
