A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2:00PM at Marietta Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1330 Cobb Parkway N, Marietta, GA 30062.
Shannon Ruann Lawson was born September 15, 1970 to the late Jerry Lee Lawson and Shirley Higgins Lawson at Crawford W. Long Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Shannon was educated in the Gwinnett County School System graduating from Buford High School with the Class of 1988. After graduating high school she began her career in the insurance business working alongside her father in his AllState Insurance Office. Shannon later moved to the commercial lines of insurance working for Wickham Insurance IOA (Insurance Office of America).
She decided to move further into the business of commercial insurance and became employed with BB&T , now Truist Bank until her passing. Shannon's favorite past time was reading and spending time with her family and going to her favorite vacation spot...Mexico. Her love for family was showed in everything that she touched or came in contact with and she appreciated the simplest of acts of kindness.
Shannon leaves to cherish her memories of love and kindness, a loving and devoted husband of twenty-five years , Timothy Mark Stover; son, Timothy Hayden (Kylee) Stover; parents, Shirley and Bill Robertson of Tucker, GA., and Phyllis M. Lawson of Tallahassee, FL.; brothers, Lee (Kerri) Lawson of Buford, GA., Mark Lawson of Tucker, GA., and Doug (Denise) Lane of Knoxville, TN.; niece, Cami (Casey) Ridgeway; nephew, Trey Lawson; and great niece, Maggie Ridgeway all of Buford, GA.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 regulations and guidelines, physical distancing practices will be in place, and MASK ARE REQUIRED for those that will be attending the service. The family is the main concern during this time of bereavement and space will be limited. We have to ensure the family is able to attend so there is a possibility of some friends not being admitted.
