On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, God saw his daughter Sheena Nicole Green growing weary and decided to give her eternal rest.
Sheena was born on May 16, 1983 to the late Michael Bush and Peggy Ann Green. To know her was to love her.
Sheena was educated in the Bartow County School System. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. She had an impeccable personality since childhood and it stayed with her throughout adulthood. She joined Pleasant Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Clarence Jackson. Sheena recommitted her life as an adult and actively praised and worshipped God within the Arts Ministry at Jesus Alive Mission Church under the leadership of Pastor Lillian Beavers.
She was a lover of people, had an open heart, a warm smile and a contagious laugh. Sheena was a beautiful, intelligent, creative and giving person. The highlight of her life was her family. Sheena would often plan dinners, cookouts, and birthday celebrations just to see their smiles and feel their loving embrace. She honored the legacy of her grandmother and mother by exemplifying the importance of family staying together. She loved all things challenging, some including reading, math and word puzzles.
Sheena is preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted and loving children, Ja’Veon Cornelius Green and Aryannah Nikiya Porter to exhibit her life’s Mantra to “LIVE, LOVE AND LAUGH” but above all honor the life we are granted accepting and embracing the love of God; sisters, Kenya Daggett, and Roshanda Daggett; brother Jamicah Bush (Dana); her loving Godparents, Norman and Rachel Sherman who embraced her as their own, sparking her sense of adventure, allowing her the opportunity to travel abroad; and a host of other relatives, cousins and friends.
