Steve Lamar Ross

Mr. Steve Lamar Ross, 60, of Marietta, Georgia  passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 1:00PM at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120.The body will lie in state in the Chapel from 12:00PM (noon) until the hour of service. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement.

Due to COVID-19 regulations and guidelines,physical distancing practices will be in place, and MASK ARE REQUIRED for those that will be attending the service. The family is the main concern during this time of bereavement and space will be limited. We have to ensure the family is able to attend the service, so there is a possibility of some friends not being admitted.

Steve Lamar Ross was born on February 22, 1961 in Marietta, Georgia to the late Edward Ross and Ollie Ross. Although Steve was born in Marietta, Georgia he spent the last many years of his life in Cartersville, Georgia with family and friends. Steve was previously employed with Bartow Paving, C.W. Mattews and S & J Salvage.

Steve was a family man, a devoted father, brother and son. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Steve was a hard worker and was willing to help anyone that needed a job done. He also enjoyed spending time with his four grandchildren. Steve Ross was always a great guy to be around. He knew how to bring out the smile and laughs in everyone he came into contact with.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, one brother, aunts and uncles.

Steve leaves to cherish his memories; son, Stevie (Kerstin) Ross, Jr.; four grandchildren, Aubriauna, D'Andre, Bryson and Jayden; sister, Shirley(Jay) Jewell; brother, Douglas Ross; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
