Susan Allecia Cuthbert was a  truly beautiful woman with a smile that brightened up your day, glowing skin, beautiful hair, and a kind hearted personality, She was a woman who made a lasting impression once you met her. Susan was born on July 16, 1957 to the late Aaron Cuthbert, Sr. and the late Marion 'Boots' Cuthbert of Marietta, Georgia.

Susan was educated in the Marietta public school system and graduated from Marietta High School. She was exposed to politics at an early age, as her father was an active member of the Democratic Party for the State of Georgia.

After graduation from high school, Susan worked at Burlington Coat Factory for many years, where she was known for providing excellent customer service to everyone, and she gained
many lifelong friends. Later in her life, Susan's primary purpose in life was her son Joseph Allen Cuthbert. Susan spent a lot of her retirement years supporting and caring for her mother Marion Boots Cuthbert and her brother Aaron Franklin Cuthbert Jr.

Susan had a passion for the arts, knitting, flower bouquet making, fashion, and entertainment. She loved watching tv such as In the Heat of the Night, game shows and movies. She was a Braves and Falcons fan! She loved ALL THINGS MARIETTA, and she frequently visited events and places around the Marietta Square. She loved music and social gatherings and would fondly remember many of the gatherings she attended. She loved R & B and soul music, with some of her favorite artists being Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin. Susan grew up a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, and later in her life she attended Mount Paran Church with her son Joseph Cuthbert.

She loved to worship God, and she was an active collector and reader of religious books by Charles Stanley, TD Jakes, Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyers to help guide her religious beliefs.
Of all of Susan’s accomplishments, she considered the greatest to be her son Joseph Cuthbert, whom she described as her world. She devoted her life to taking care of Joseph and raising him to be the best person he could be.

Susan leaves to remember her life; son, Joseph Allen Cuthbert; two nephews Aaron Franklin Cuthbert, III (Robyn), and Byron O'Neil Cuthbert, and a host of other relatives and friends.
