Ted Mitchell Beasley, 64 of Adairsville, Georgia passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024 at Piedmont Healthcare Cartersville surrounded by his loving family. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 12:00P.M. (Noon) at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. The body will lie in state in the chapel from 11:00A.M. until the hour of service. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement. Mr. Ted Mitchell Beasley, 64 of Adairsville, Georgia went home to be with his Heavenly Father on September 2, 2024 after a sudden illness.

Ted was born in Gordon County on December 26, 1959 to the late John Simuel Beasley, Sr. and Annie Margaret Lott Beasley. He was educated in the Bartow County School System attending Adairsville High School, where he played football and ran track.

He held several jobs during his lifetime but as he grew older his greatest task were his children and family. During football season, which he called his “Prime Time” was spent watching the games with his brothers, Mark and Patrick and his nephews. Ted was not a great talker, but you knew he was always listening and pondering the conversations around him; as his brother David would say; he was the resilient one, the one who you knew would always be there listening. Of course he had to get that “scratch-off” before the weeks end.

He was our brother with “the deep voice” and he will be so very deeply missed.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mia Chambrea Willis; sister, Vera N. Beasley Lynn; brothers, Pastor John Simuel Beasley, Jr. and Victor Ramone Beasley, Sr.

Left to cherish his precious memories of the heart are his daughter, La’Ajasage Shaleigh Beasley; son, Jason Sinclaire Beasley; grandchildren, Taraji Lynn, Jacion Sundae Beasley, Jream Sincere Beasley, Cashdym Washington, and Amontee Martinez; loving step-mother, Patricia Beasley; brothers, William David Beasley (Kathy) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mark Anthony Beasley, and Patrick Gabriel Beasley (Tammy); sisters, Josephine Beasley Gardner (Mathew), Traci Vanessa Beasley, and Davol Leigh Beasley; step-brother, Tim Davis (Kathy); sister, Paula Allen (Steve); sister-in-laws, Stephanie Beasley and Teresa Beasley; special aunt, Margaret Gary of Gary, Indiana; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
