Mr. Terrance Matthew Stimage, 46 of Cartersville, Georgia passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 12:00P.M. (Noon) at Unity Worship Church, 214 Nelson Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. The body will lie in state in the church from 11:00A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery, 165 Old Tennessee Rd NE, Cartersville, Georgia 30121. The Funeral service will be LIVE STREAMED. Terrance Matthew Stimage, affectionally known as “SIPPI,” to his family and friends, blessed the world with his birth on April 16, 1977 in Cleveland, Mississippi. He was born to the late Frances Anderson Stimage and Matthew Smith Jr. Terrance transitioned in peace on June 15, 2023, at the young age of 45.
Terrance was grew up in the city of Shaw, Mississippi where he attended Christian Standing Up for Jesus Church. In his adolescent years, he was educated in the Shaw School System. In his early adulthood, he attended Job Corp where he learned life skills, and how to become a proficient welder. Those welding skills led him to Trinity Rail located in Cartersville, Ga., where he worked for a total of 24 years. He served as a team leader and most recently as a Quality Insurance Inspector.
Terrance was a humble man, he was known for his kindness, warm, loving disposition, and his humor. He was the type of man who valued faith, family and treating others with dignity and respect. Known to be a man of standards and great wisdom. If you did not want to know the truth, then he would be the wrong person to ask. Terrance was loyal to his friends, and very supportive of his children, and siblings. He carried a lightness, and joy with him that could brighten any room, or just make your day feel better. Integrity was the banner that he wore on his heart, and he lived his life striving to do right by those who came in contact with him. In short, to know Terrance Matthew Stimage, is to know how it feels when someone loves you unconditionally, and fill your life with profound wisdom and unrelenting purpose.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Antonio Smith and Patrick Stimage; and one sister, Courtney Smith.
Terrance leaves his all-encompassing love and memories to be shared by his two daughters, Remi Harper Eaves, and Ciana Reign Eaves; one son, Christian Jayden Dupree-Hamilton; sisters, Shakira DeSavoir, and Brooklyn Rich; brother, Damien Smith; and he also leaves to celebrate his legacy, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, co-workers, and friends.
